It has been determined by Eagle Pair® that some SL-GLG1X Eagle Pair® 190-540nm & 800-1700nm goggles manufactured prior to 2020 may have a dip in the absorbance curve between 505 and 517nm wavelength of about OD3 instead of OD5. Eagle Pair® has provided us replacement lens filters for any Survival Laser customer of these goggles that requests them. Customers can reach us about the replacements via the store contact page.

Survival Laser, Inc. is a Cedar City, UT based corporation that sells lasers and laser components that may be assembled to construct handheld, high power (up to 4,500mW) 405nm (violet), 445nm (blue), 520nm (green) and 635nm & 660nm (red) wavelength lasers that can be used for numerous practical, educational, survival, aquarium pest control and research applications. These lasers are focusable and the higher powered units can burn paper, wood and plastic and ignite pyrotechnic materials with ease. Survival Laser products are sold in a variety of categories including:
• Lasers
"Survival Lasers with Accessories" products include the laser components, batteries and battery charger, a holster and a set of Eagle Pair® laser safety goggles.
The Survival Laser "components only" products include only the laser components (no batteries, charger or accessories).
All lasers feature our unique modular design, include complete illustrated instructions and safety precautions and can be assembled in 5-10 minutes with no soldering or special mechanical skills required. The only tool necessary is an Allen wrench which is included with the packages.
• Laser Parts & Assemblies
These products consist of the separate parts and assemblies that are included with the laser products listed above, and "DIY" (do it yourself) parts and assemblies that require more skill in fabrication (such as soldering) of the finished laser. Note: Due to the sensitive nature of electronic components, the "DIY" parts and assemblies are sold without warranty. Do not purchase the "DIY" products if you are unskilled in soldering and ESD techniques.
• Laser Accessories
Survival Laser accessories include a holster, a lens spring, a tripod, Ceramique 2 thermal compound and a battery extension tube.
• Laser Safety
Survival Laser offers Eagle Pair® OD4+ laser safety goggles that provide superior eye protection over a range of laser wavelengths.
Safety
A completed device built from these components is a "Class 3B" or "Class 4" laser and is EXTREMELY HAZARDOUS if not handled properly! The laser beam and its reflection can cause instant and permanent eye injury, burn exposed skin and ignite flammable materials. A list of recommended safety precautions is included with the parts bundles, and if followed during assembly and operation will ensure your safety and the safety of others in the vicinity of the laser beam. PLEASE READ THE SAFETY DOCUMENTS LINKED BELOW. Also, please read this article about Blue Light Hazard. Remember, your safety is your responsibility.

Warranty:
Survival Laser, Inc. will warranty the "Survival Laser" branded parts bundle components for ninety (90) days from the date of purchase against defects in materials or workmanship. No other warranty either expressed or implied is made except the replacement or repair of the Survival Laser parts bundle component affected, at the sole discretion of Survival Laser. Except for the warranties stated herein for the customer, no warranty, condition or representation, express, oral, or statutory, is provided to the customer or any third party, including (without limitation) any warranty, condition or representation (a) of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, satisfactory quality, or arising from a course of dealing, usage, or trade practice; or (b) that the products will be free from infringement or violation of any rights, including intellectual property rights, of third parties. This disclaimer and exclusion shall apply even if the express warranty herein fails of its essential purpose. Other specific warranty exclusions include but are not limited to: Beam "artifacts" including motes, phantom squares and side splash, operating the diode longer than the recommended duty cycle, use of non-recommended batteries, physical shock and water damage, damage sustained during assembly, improper assembly, unauthorized disassembly, unauthorized modifications to the parts or assemblies, damage to lens or diode from cleaning, smoke and/or soot damage, leaving the lens cap on during operation.
Electronic components return policy:
Due to their sensitive nature, all Survival Laser electronic components are sold without warranty and cannot be returned for refund.
Host components return policy:
Host components may be returned within 10 days of receipt provided that they are in original condition, unused and in all original packaging. We will refund the product price only, less a 25% restocking fee.
Goggles return policy:
Goggles may be returned within 10 days of receipt provided that they are in original condition, unused and in all original packaging. We will refund the product price only, less a 25% restocking fee. Due to hygiene issues we cannot accept return of used goggles.
