DIY 635nm Diode

A 5.6mm diameter 635nm wavelength Mitsubishi ML520G71 diode identical to those used in the SL-RHPB and PBAR parts bundles. These diodes can produce up to 500mW optical output or more depending on current and lens used and individual diode efficiency. Typical current is 750-1000mA, typical voltage is 2.5-2.6 volts. The beam from this diode appears significantly brighter to the eye than that from the typical 660nm red diodes. Packaged in an aluminized Mylar conductive plastic bag.
