DANGER: APPROPRIATE LASER SAFETY GOGGLES MUST BE WORN WHEN OPERATING THIS DIODE! RISK OF INSTANTANEOUS SEVERE EYE DAMAGE OR BLINDNESS!
A 5.6mm diameter 445nm M140 diode pressed into your choice of a nickel-plated brass or solid copper diode module. Diodes are fully installed into the module using a diode press for maximum heat transfer during operation. Wire lead extensions are approximately 1" long 26 AWG silicone insulated for flexibility and durability, solder joints are protected with heat shrink tubing. These diodes can produce from less than 1,000mW, to 2,200mW or more optical output depending on current and lens used and individual diode efficiency. Typical current is 1.2-1.8A, typical voltage is 4.8-5.1 volts. Packaged in an aluminized Mylar conductive plastic bag.
How to solder a diode to a driver
Notice: Due to the sensitive nature of electronic components, the "DIY" parts and assemblies are sold "as is" and without warranty. Do not purchase the "DIY" products if you are unskilled in soldering and ESD techniques.
